Jane O'Laughlin, MSN, CFNP,CPNP
Jane O'Laughlin, MSN, CFNP, CPNP received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UCLA and Master’s degrees in Family and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of San Diego. She completed her internship training at UCSD Family Medicine and Children’s Hospital of San Diego. She has earned the American Nurses Credentialing as APRN, BC Certified Family Practitioner and Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her honors include UCLA and UCSD Suma Cum Laude, 1985 Top Graduate Award, UCLA Alumni Award, and Phi Beta Kappa. Jane O’Laughlin, MSN, CFNP, CPNP joined La Jolla Village Family Medical Group in 2006.
Providing personal, state of the art primary and preventive healthcare to family medicine patients in San Diego since 1990, Jane O’Laughlin’s wealth of experience guides her caring for newborns at their first postnatal visit, throughout their childhood and adolescent years, and through the rich expanse of adult and senior life. Her focus on physical and mental health addresses the full spectrum of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries seen in family medicine, while taking time with each patient to listen to their own view of health priorities and challenges. Jane O’Laughlin oversees the care for reproductive needs of all ages of both men and women for contraception, family planning, post fertility hormone replacement and sexual health concerns. An avid athlete herself, Jane incorporates and encourages the quest for mental and physical fitness into her individualized health prescription and support for each patient. “My primary focus at La Jolla Village Family Medical Group is to know my patients well enough to understand their unique healthcare needs, address these needs efficiently and effectively, and invite a new level of confidence in their personal health management.”
